The filthy thing is this isn't a joke, back in the 50s my Aunt used to sit in the bath tub in her jeans. the bathtub would be filled with ice water, and she would let the jeans shrink around her body, then she would get out, wait to dry, and wear them to parties. like marijuana parties or something. except back then it was called reefer.
