There’s a decidedly “B” thriller/horror movie up on Netflix Instant right now called Frozen. Its about a couple people stuck on a ski lift. That’s the entire plot. But whoo boy, does it do pretty much all it can with that plot!

I wont spoil anything here besides what is already covered in the synopsis. People getting stuck in chair lift. So anything you can think of that might have to do with that, pretty much happens. But the execution is to die for. And see right there, I wanted to italicize execution, but I didn’t. And that’s what we call professionalism in the biz.

The movie is only 90 or so minutes long, but is such lightweight material, it feels more like a long tv episode. I think you should go watch it right now. Especially if you like seeing people shiver in the cold. God knows I do.

Take a stand!

1. I watched this movie a while back and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the special effects and the sheer amount of things that they found to do on a ski lift. I second this recommendation.
