5. When you are attacking an enemy, and you have a sweet combo going it doesn’t stutter the enemy, or prevent him from attacking you. This ruins half the fun of a fast-paced action game, I don’t want to constantly be dodging.

4. There aren’t enough health drops. Yes, you can craft health items, but you don’t get the crafting items very often. I spend most of the game with the screen flashing red because Bayonetta has no health left.

3. Almost every mid-boss and boss have a worthless cinema before them. And as soon as the cinema is over, and the fight begins, you have to IMMEDIATELY dodge, or else you’ll get hit. And maybe I just suck, but sometimes it seems harder to dodge the attack, like the first few frames of the animation aren’t shown.

2. Some stages are just a series of mini-bosses. I don’t know about the general public, but I for one don’t really like a never ending stream of “challenging” enemy encounters. Sometimes I like to shoot some grunts too.

1. The Sexuality is overt to the point where it just irritates me. I don’t find myself turned on, or thinking how hot Bayonetta is. I just feel sorry for her, and I feel a little dirty to be playing such a hyper-sexy game. Also they never even show us the goods. So its pretty much the worst.
