So I’m playing Madworld. If you could call it that. Its more like i put my brain on pause for 20 minutes, then fight a boss. In each stage. Over, and over. And then over again for variety.

Ok, yeah so there was a motorcycle section. woo.

It seems to me that the mini-campaign that was launched of bringing “adult” titles to the Wii would have been more successful if they made, yknow, fun ones. All the devs made big deals about going out on limbs, and giving us hardcore Wii games, and then made big frowny faces when they sold like shit.

Heres a clue- playstation 1 era gameplay doesnt cut it anymore. Even if its “edgy”.

I’m pretty sure the RE4 remake sold fairly well, and that was an adult title. Of course it was a GOOD ONE. WOW, WEIRD HOW THAT WORKS.

Also i get the feeling that the black and white was just used to mask the fugly-level graphics. It was the only way they could get away with it.

1. i had the same problem with MadWorld. got all excited the wife & i would have something more than wii sports & sports resort to play, and i’m doing repetitive tasks with a repetitive soundtrack and my eyes are bleeding from the b&w&r shapes flying around.
