I was discussing this the other night with some people I work with. What happened to saying solid? why did that trend die? and like, how did we even use it? I swear I was a proponent of saying solid but I am having a heckuva time remembering when it is appropriate to do so.

If memory serves it can be inserted into a sentence where you say “Nice” or “Rockin”, in today’s parlance.

So like if I got a paycheck, and they accidentally gave me too much money I would say solid? or like, what if i ate a really good cookie? like a peanut butter cookie. which I wouldn’t, because I got some love handles that need slimming. And am allergic to peanuts.

Just joking, only pussies have food allergies. Pussies and my dad. And nobody calls my dad a pussy. NOBODY.

I preordered the HTC EVO for Sprint today at BestBuy, I am excited for it. I am hoping it will fill all the gaping hole that I wanted the Palm Pre to fill. You know, the hole in me that prevents me from ever truly being happy, or smiling. I’ll fix that with consumer products…. MM-hmm.

Moving on,

I’m almost done with FF13. Still not sure how I feel about that game. If i tell myself its just a really long action/strategy game, then it doesn’t feel as weird as telling myself its an RPG.
