Its amazing how many hours of Demons Souls Ive already spent just trying to do the levels over. And over. Then just for a change of pace, over again.
I honestly don’t think I have experienced this type of gameplay since Ducktales on the NES. That game was BALLS hard, much harder than any mega man in my opinion. Although both were Capcom.
For those who havent tried D’s S’s yet, imagine Phantasy Star Online, without the help of 3 other people, and incredibly unforgiving, with less item drops. And no ‘peeps’. Thats basically whats going on.
But its a very fun game, when its not kicking my ass. The funny thing is a lot of reviews talk about how hard it is, but I dont really think it is. Its not HARD in that the levels are challenging, or bosses are impossible, what it is is strenuous. The enemies, and traps, and endless replaying wears you down, it drives you into the floor, makes you want to yell FAKK YOOOO and go to bed… but instead you say “just one more try” and you try it a different way.
What I propose is Demon’s Souls isnt a hard game in describing the difficulty, what it is is a precise game… if you dont keep on your toes, and stay sharp, youre going to die in a stupid way, and start all over again.
Great now its midnight and im going to be super tired tomorrow. Fucking fuck.
