with the release of LittleBigPlanet just two weeks away, I am very surprised Sony has not announced a PlayStation 3 bundle that includes the game. The game has a tremendous amount of praise and seemingly caters to a wide demographic. The title is unique enough that a stand-in game cannot be found on another system and an eventual port seems unlikely due to the limitations of those other systems. It seems like an ideal system seller. Releasing a bundle now would be a good time for the upcoming holidays. Package it with two controllers to highlight the potential family fun as well as incorporate the blu-ray into the marketing and mothers will see a great gift for their children and husbands. Perhaps the issue is that there are already so many different varieties of the unit available and they don’t want to confuse the market anymore. If that’s the case, I think they made a mistake because I think a LBP/PS3 bundle has greater potential.
