So a guy at work came up to me, and asked me to help him out with a basic algebra problem, me being the huge brain that I am, assumed it would be an easy-peasy task. Not so much. I was given the following equation (about).

x+x(.0923)=84

I look at it, say “I gotta divide out that shit” So I throw the .0923 underneath the 84, and get an answer yadda yadda yadda- it was way wrong.

So I stare at it. And I stare at it. And stare. 10 minutes later I realize two things

a) the guy who wrote it wrote it down funky
b) I’m way too dumb

So this is how it should have been written:

x+.0923x=84

wow. holy shit now its so easy.

let me reiterate, I am super dumb. Or as Adam likes to say “I’m either the smartest idiot he knows, or the dumbest smart kid”
