I haven’t been to Chinatown in awhile, but its a fun place. Well I mean as long as you don’t look at all the filth in the streets, or hang around at night that is. There’s a place right near the parking lot that has really good food. I used to always go to a place down that main drag (hell if I know the street name) but one time I ate there only to learn at the end of the meal that their fridge hadnt been working… and it was summer….. boy that night was my stomach angry with me. Ever since that time its just been the big place by the parking lot.

Also there’s The Phoenix, a bar? lounge? a seedy opium den? They served bubble tea long before I had seen it anywhere else. And there’s something about those opaque little black balls that are just oh so exciting! Mmmmm black balls. Also the watermelon tea was to die for. Really, I saw a yakuza hit go down over a delicious watermelon bubble tea once. Scouts honor.
