Hidden among a long list of ridiculous demands, Colin asked me to post occasionally. So I’ve decided I will hold down the NK fort during the weekends.

To introduce myself to the fifteen or so people who don’t already know me, I present a “Top 5” list. This is “Top 5 things I like in no particular order”:

1. Video games and movies. I once replied to the question “so what do you do?” while talking to a girl with that exact statement. Since this was pre-Halo, that wasn’t at all cool to say.
2. The outdoors. Hiking, biking, camping, kayaking, canoeing, climbing, skiing, triathloning (training for one currently), and intentionally getting lost. All bring me joy.
3. Bicycles; road and mountain. I have more fun mountain biking and enjoy the road bike to go exploring and fitness.
4. Motor vehicles. Mostly cars, only the occasional SUV/Truck interests me. Watching racing (or any sport) never really caught my eye though.
5. Reading books, newspaper, stories.

Since Colin has the first well locked down, and Adam spent four years discovering the sexual imagery of Peter Rabbit, I’m going to focus on the others ones. So I’ll randomly post about cool outdoors, cycling, and car stuff. In the mean time, you can read about the totally rad but currently unavailable in the US of A BMW 520d and how it edges out the Prius on highway mileage. Not to mention that you get 250 ft-lbs of twist (lots more with the 535d).

1. I’ll have you know that I was an English major for only two years; before that I was in Computer Science. I have never studied Peter Rabbit, but I can go into detail about why men prefer the latter part of “spit or swallow;” thank you very much Literature & Sexuality class.
