So whats this bullshit with GH3 and Rockband? I am a lone wolf when it comes to gaming and am no longer in college, so I bought Guitar Hero 3 instead of Rockband. Now I find that Rockband gets weekly track packs, while over here in the GH camp I’m stuck with a no doubt pack? What the hell? Not that I am a huge micro transaction guy, but I would like the option.

And as long as I’m griping, Xbox customer service bites dick. It bites dick firm and hard, and leaves marks that future girlfriends are going to question. So about two months ago my Xbox 360 died as usual, and I sent it away. A bit later and I had a new one in my hands (my 3rd), but I ran into a problem I had already experienced once before- my hard drive no longer recognized my Xbox as my Xbox. Since Microsoft had sent me a new ‘box my HD assumed I was just taking it over to a friends house and trying to play my live titles and auto-sign in on a foreign console, which it won’t allow. So the only way for me to play my titles is to sign into Xbox live, which I sometimes am not able to do (my router is delicate).

…although for some reason even when I sign into live I can’t play my Castlevania:SOTN or Worms. Ugh.

Anyways I jump through the hoops and language barriers on the customer support line until I finally get to someone who actually understands the issue that I am explaining to them. Of course they recommend the solution that is on the online database, which still does me no good. Eventually I am told that they will be passing my issue along to their superiors and they will re-associate my purchased titles with my box- in 5-10 business days.

Here it is going on the 24th business day and the situation is still fuck-bucketed. But I mean really, should I expect anything else? sigh I guess one of these days after work I’m going to have to bite the bullet and call them up again.

Anyways time to go buy myself a hotdog somewhere. MMmm.
